Master Robinson is proud to offer expert instruction in the valuable martial art of Tang Soo Do. A life art, Tang Soo Do Karate originated in Korea. As a result, our students learn Korean terminology related to their studies. Training includes education in physical, mental and philosophical aspects of the art. We emphasize respect, tradition and responsibility in ourselves and in our members.
Students are trained in soo ki (hand techniques), jok ki (foot techniques), hyung (forms), dae ryun (sparring), ho sin sul (self defense), moo gi (weapons training), and kyuck pa (breaking techniques). A comprehensive martial arts education, Martial Arts Connecticut's curriculum will help students manage stress, develop mental focus, physical strength, balance, flexibility, and develop solid self defense skills. Children, teens and adults will all benefit from these aspects of training as well as the self-esteem and empowerment building skills effected by our curriculum. Students progress at their own levels of personal success.
