Sparring
Ages 12 thru 15 (all ranks) - Bring Sparring Gear
Ages 16 thru adult (all ranks) - Bring Sparring Gear
Breaking
Ages 5 thru 11 (all ranks) - bring any special materials (your own boards), if you want to perform special breaks
Ages 16 thru Adult (White/Orange/Blue/Purple/Green) - bring any special materials (your own boards), if you want to perform special breaks
- some breaking materials will be provided
Weapons
Ages 12 thru 15 (White/Orange/Blue/Purple/Green) - Bring Weapons (Bo Staff)
Ages 16 thru Adult (Apprentice Red/Red/Apprentice Black/Black) - Bring Weapons (Bo Staff)
Next MAC sessions begin September 2010. Register online or in person at class.
Members of the Martial Arts Connecticut Shelton and Lakewood-Trumbull dojangs performed a karate demonstration for opening weekend of the movie, The Karate Kid, starring Jackie Chan and Jayden Smith. The theatre was a buzz with interest and movie goers were treated to demonstrations in technique, forms, weapons and breaking. Thank you to all participants, especially Master Dave Deguzman for helping to coordinate this event!
Congratulations MAC Shelton on an outstanding gup graduation event held Saturday, June 5, 2010 at The Rinks. All students performed extremely well. Congratulations on your new ranks and best wishes to those who received black belt promotion invitations! Thank you to Robert Thiesfield, our official MAC photographer for documenting the event. Along with Grandmaster Cheezic, we had an impressive panel of Masters and Black Belts, along with friends, family and guests attend in support of our school and we are so appreciative of that. The following students were promoted in Shelton: Jason Loh, Zade Hariri, Alexa Choi, Marisa Choi, Kush Doshi, Lakshmi Manne, Aaron Choi, Kristina Foye, Lohitha Sakamuri, Robert Oborenko, Therell Mayes and Shannon Mencel. Great job everyone...it was another MAC-fabulous day!

Congratulations MAC Fairfield on a job well done at the Gup Graduation held June 2, 2010 at Jennings Elementary School. The following students were promoted: Aidan Fisher, Donachris Idieu, Andreas Lolis, Arthur Belile, Hannah Betron, RJ Ihlefeld, Ben Kamin, Lauren Pistilli, Maks Curran and Zachary Betron. MAC Bridgeport Gup Graduation held April 27, 2010 was a resounding success! Congratulations to all participants for a job well done and to all graduates for achieving your next karate rank. Keep up the great work! The following students graduated: Zuri Lazaro, Aaliyah Darden, Dyllan Tyson, Pamela Dewitt-Smith, Silvia DeSouza, Maurice Grey, Amanda McKenzie and Lauren McKenzie. Congratulations to our newest Martial Arts Connecticut black belts: Mr. Alex Adamik and Mr. Joey Kirschner. Both young men performed in outstanding fashion at a CTSD black belt grading held on Friday, April 16, 2010. They made MAC proud and earned their black belts with distinction. Welcome to the inner circle and congratulations Joey and Alex!

Congratulations MAC! Several students traveled and competed with Master Robinson at the All Tang Soo Do Tournament in Woburn, Massachusetts during the weekend of March 26-27, 2010.
Everyone performed extremely well and many MAC and Cheezic Tang Soo Do Federation members came home with medals earned at the two-day event. Stay tuned for more photos.......can't wait until the next event!
2010 CTSD Best of our Best Awards Banquet Photos are now online! The Cheezic Tang Soo Do Federation annual awards banquet held February 28, 2010 was a great success. Congratulations to all MAC students who received awards and recognition at that event. A big thanks go out to those MAC students who performed demonstrations for the crowd of over 600 people, including several visiting martial arts dignitaries. You did a great job! Congratulations MAC Shelton for your outstanding participation in the Shelton Dojang Gup Graduation held Saturday, February 13, 2010 at The Rinks in Shelton. Grandmaster Cheezic presided over the graduation at which the following Federation Masters and Black Belts attended: Master Harold Lindo, Master Todd Deutsch, Master Adam Gorski, Master Michael Cavallaro, Master Susan Mathews, Mr. Dan Hinman, Ms. Jessica Johnson, Ms. Tiadora Josef, Mr. Jonathan Robinson, Mr. Richard Robinson, Mr. Lenny Kovalik, Mr. Nick Kovalik, Mr. Matthew McKenna, Mr. Sean McKenna. The day's events included student performances and Black Belt and Master Belt demonstrations that left us in awe. Our day concluded with a gourmet reception catered by Gaetano's Deli. Master Nancy Robinson was inducted into the Action Martial Arts Magazine Hall of Fame on January 9, 2010. Ceremonies were held at the Tropicana Resort and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The MAC Fairfield program for Jennings School PTA has concluded the Fall 2009 session. Great job, students! Thank you also to the parents for being so supportive of your kids, and for Mrs. Pistilli for coordinating such a valuable PTA program. The next session (Winter 2010) starts January 13, 2010. Registration packets for the next session are already on the way to you! The belt graduation for our Jennings School program will be January 20, 2010 so please encourage your children to do their best on the road to martial arts success!

The CTSD Federation Black Belt Graduation scheduled for November 13, 2009 has been rescheduled to December 18, 2009. Please adjust your calendars accordingly. This is an invitation-only event.
The 2009 Cheezic Tang Soo Do Holiday Party was a great success! Thank you to all MAC members who attended. We enjoyed the great company of more than 100 federation members, good food, music, dancing and more. Can't wait until next years party!
Congratulations to MAC students for participating in the 4th CTSD Federation Challenge tournament held on Sunday, November 8, 2009 in Waterbury. Ten Martial Arts Connecticut students competed in breaking and forms divisions. All ten students placed, earning trophies in their divisions, including two first-time competitors! Great job, everyone!
Congratulations MAC Shelton for displaying great Tang Soo Do skill and spirit at our Shelton Gup Graduation on October 10, 2009. All students, especially those grading, performed exceptionally well. We had great support from all the friends and family members that attended, and also from the distinguished group of visiting Masters and Black Belts who came in support of our school. Martial Arts Connecticut Fairfield is off to a great start! Many thanks to Mrs. Sharon Pistilli for coordinating our Jennings PTA After-School Karate program. We have a group of 17 enthusiastic elementary school students who are well on their way to martial arts success!
