Remember that we have one more Federation tournament on November 13, 2011 for forms and breaking. Be sure to attend and secure points for a possible Best of Our Best Federation award.
On Friday, April 29, 2011, Grandmaster Cheezic conducted a Cheezic Tang Soo Do Federation Black Belt Graduation in Waterbury. We are pleased to announce that one of our own, Mason Pugh, was promoted to 1st Dan Black Belt at that event. He represented Martial Arts Connecticut with honor, discipline and great skill. We are so proud of and happy for him. Thank you to all the Black Belts who attended in support of him and MAC. Congratulations, Mr. Pugh, Dan #2183! Congratulations to the MAC students from our MAC Bridgeport, MAC Shelton and MAC Stratford dojangs who graduated at our April 16, 2011 gup graduation. It was an outstanding event! Thank you to Grandmaster Cheezic, all of our MAC Instructors and black belts, and the visiting Masters and Black Belts from our Federation for coming to the graduation in support of our talented MAC team. Congratulations to all those who traveled with Grandmaster Cheezic to Bermuda November 5-10. 2010. There were a total of 19 travelers who embarked on a cultural and martial arts adventure. While there, we participated in the Skippy Kick Open Martial Arts Tournament hosted by Skipper and Kristina Ingham. All Cheezic Tang Soo Do competitors placed in their divisions, representing the federation with honor and great skill. Special thanks and congratulations are extended to our MAC family members who earned medals at the tournament: Master Nancy Robinson, Gabrielle Camarero, Michele Camarero and David Camarero. Also earning medals were Master Adam Gorski, Jonathan Robinson and Richard Robinson. Congratulations! Congratulations to our new Cheezic Tang Soo Do Federation Master, Master Maurice Grey, CTSD #301. Master Grey was promoted to 4th Dan Master Belt at a Master's grading held by Grandmaster Cheezic at Federation Headquarters on October 15, 2010. We are thrilled to welcome him into the inner-inner circle and surround him with the best of karma for continued Tang Soo Do success. Way to go, Master Grey!
Master Grey received his 1st Dan Black Belt in 1989, along with Master Robinson. He began his Cheezic Tang Soo Do training at Southern Connecticut State University and moved to Stamford where he taught Cheezic Tang Soo Do at the Stamford JCC. He currently lives in Bridgeport and is a member of MAC Bridgeport, along with his children Silva and Maurice Jr. Please join us in congratulating Master Grey on this great honor! Tang Soo!
Congratulations, MAC gup graduates, for a successful gup graduation held Saturday, September 25, 2010 at MAC Shelton. We had an awesome event, with student, black belt and guest performances to enjoy for years to come. Thank you for all those who came in support of our dojang and our candidates! 2010 CTSD Karate Kamp weekend was a fantastic event with lots of fun, karate, food, games and networking between schools. Thanks to all MAC members who participated! Congrats MAC for winning 3rd place in the Federation dojang demonstration competition!
 
Members of the Martial Arts Connecticut Shelton and Lakewood-Trumbull dojangs performed a karate demonstration for opening weekend of the movie, The Karate Kid, starring Jackie Chan and Jayden Smith. The theatre was a buzz with interest and movie goers were treated to demonstrations in technique, forms, weapons and breaking. Thank you to all participants, especially Master Dave Deguzman for helping to coordinate this event! 
Congratulations MAC Shelton on an outstanding gup graduation event held Saturday, June 5, 2010 at The Rinks. All students performed extremely well. Congratulations on your new ranks and best wishes to those who received black belt promotion invitations! Thank you to Robert Thiesfield, our official MAC photographer for documenting the event. Along with Grandmaster Cheezic, we had an impressive panel of Masters and Black Belts, along with friends, family and guests attend in support of our school and we are so appreciative of that. Congratulations MAC! Several students traveled and competed with Master Robinson at the All Tang Soo Do Tournament in Woburn, Massachusetts during the weekend of March 26-27, 2010.   Everyone performed extremely well and many MAC and Cheezic Tang Soo Do Federation members came home with medals earned at the two-day event. 2010 CTSD Best of our Best Awards Banquet Photos are now online! The Cheezic Tang Soo Do Federation annual awards banquet held February 28, 2010 was a great success. Congratulations to all MAC students who received awards and recognition at that event. A big thanks go out to those MAC students who performed demonstrations for the crowd of over 600 people, including several visiting martial arts dignitaries. You did a great job! Congratulations MAC Shelton for your outstanding participation in the Shelton Dojang Gup Graduation held Saturday, February 13, 2010 at The Rinks in Shelton. Master Nancy Robinson was inducted into the Action Martial Arts Magazine Hall of Fame on January 9, 2010. Ceremonies were held at the Tropicana Resort and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The MAC Fairfield program for Jennings School PTA has concluded the Fall 2009 session. Great job, students! Thank you also to the parents for being so supportive of your kids, and for Mrs. Pistilli for coordinating such a valuable PTA program. The next session (Winter 2010) starts January 13, 2010. Registration packets for the next session are already on the way to you! The belt graduation for our Jennings School program will be January 20, 2010 so please encourage your children to do their best on the road to martial arts success!

Congratulations to MAC students for participating in the 4th CTSD Federation Challenge tournament held on Sunday, November 8, 2009 in Waterbury. Ten Martial Arts Connecticut students competed in breaking and forms divisions. All ten students placed, earning trophies in their divisions, including two first-time competitors!
